Plain bearing is placed in pairs on two sides of the chrome rods. It ensures that the slide can be lowered easily and quietly after drilling.

Please note: this is a dry storage!

Helpful information in case of changing: at first loose the chrome rod at the bottom of the machine.

Use snap pliers to remove the snap ring. Like that you can replace the plain bearing. After replasing reinstallt the snap ring and screw the chrome rod tight.
